Bike Wise Challenge
The Bike Wise Challenge is a fun and free competition held every February between organisations to see who can get the most staff to ride a bike for at least 10 minutes or 2 km.
Over 400 organisations and 4500 people took part in the 2012 Bike Wise Challenge. Almost 50,000 bike rides were logged, 768,102 kms cycled and 13,825,841 calories burned!
How to take part
All you need to do is form or join a team within your organisation, to see who can get the highest number of people to cycle for at least 10 minutes or 2 km during February.
10 great reasons to take part
It’s an excuse to have fun with your colleagues. It saves money, keeps you fit and there are some great prizes to be won! There’s also the glory of beating the competition. So what are you waiting for?
