Be Bright on your bike this winter!

At dusk and dawn, in rain and low light, make sure you’re high vis and have lights on your bike!

First piloted in 2012, Be Bright is a key Bike Wise initiative designed to improve cyclists' safety especially during times of low-light and low-visibility conditions. Bike Wise and the NZ Police promote the use of front and rear lights and high-visibility clothing in order to reduce risks to cyclists during low-light periods at dawn and dusk and in poor weather.
